I thought I'd share Breezy with you guys this morning.
She is 15 this year. Years ago we bought her for our breeding program, she was a beautiful young mare, with a good pedigree & a wonderful disposition. Then she became ill and lost her foal and her eye sight. Because she was such a sweet level headed girl we were able to keep her and she raises a baby for us evey year.
This is Breezy and her baby Lily this year.

Looks like she had another nice baby this year. I remember you telling us about her before, but I can't remember if you keep them seperated  from the rest of the mares and their babies or not.

No we were going to but she seems to do fine. She has to be kept up in a pipe pen so her baby can't get to far away. She can hear it and doesn't get in panic about it.
This year we had another mare get lame & we put her and her foal in the pen with Breezy & her foal, we were sure how that would go but it was all just fine.
