Blue Valentine was well known for his confirmation, disposition and tremendous use as a ranch/rodeo stud. Baldy's pedigree also consists of Red Man who was name Roping NCHA Hall of Fame Sire. Red Man was noted for his size, bone, athletic ability and colour. Baldy is also 4th generation Joe Hancock who was said to be one of the all time great sires of rope horses.
